help non-binary Black femme in the D.C. area
hey everyone, i know ive been making a lot of donation posts for my friends on here but another one of my best friends, Kayla, needs our help! Kayla is a non-binary Black femme in the DC area struggling with debt and bills after facing a lot of hardship family-wise and at their place(s) of work. Their mental health isn’t very stable at all at the moment and while being unable to get/ pay for medication and therapy, they still need extra $ to pay their bills, get groceries, etc. Kayla needs to be treated ASAP for persistent depressive disorder, atypical depression and anxiety. Please reblog or donate this post if you can cus I know they really wanted to use a donation post as a last resort and allowed me to make a post on their behalf, since they’re not on social media much. urgent help needed
I’m Erin, my family needs at least $10 to eat this week and $15 for cab fare. I need money for groceries as we have no food to eat. Thanks to y’all we paid my doctors bill and did not go over drawn but now we have no money and I’m sorry to ask for this but we need help. I got turned down for disability and my caseworker helped me apply for SSI which I am likely to get. I am just waiting to hear back on it and that takes some time. If you want to donate, be it 1 cent or 5 cent, no amount is too small, it would be greatly appreciated and go towards food, necessities, or bills. I will repay anyone who donates in any way. I’ve been homeless for over two months now. I made the journey back down to the Central coast to be closer to friends, but promises of temporary shelter have completely fallen through. I’m now homeless in a county that has strict laws against homelessness. I can’t afford to pay a fine or go to jail.
If you could please donate to my Venmo @Candice-S-4 to help put me up for a couple of nights in a cheap hotel I would be forever grateful. I just need a safe space to stay in so that I can figure out where to go from here.

My need to stay in a hotel or in a hostel is incredibly overwhelming at this point. The homeless shelters out here are overcrowded and scary. The weather has been very cold and rainy so sleeping outside isn’t an option. I don’t have clothes to keep me warm.
Any donation, no matter how small, will greatly improve my quality of life. I just need a place to stay even if it’s only temporary so I can get back on my feet. I’m so tired of living in fear every single day.

hey so yeah another week of torture went by and the little amount I had for bus fare is gone again, still havent gotten a paycheck. I was going to donate plasma but that fell through because I was too anxious they were going to bruise me again like last time. and then the bank thought it an appropriate time to hit with me a $15 dollar fee for not making enough money this month! wish I could tend to my own basic needs lol !
